Micromax has introduced its first flagship tablet in the Canvas series, calling it the Canvas Tab P650. Until now the domestic maker has been launching tablets under its Funbook portfolio. The new Canvas Tab has been launched at Rs. 16,500, and will be available in stores on Wednesday.

The Micromax Canvas Tab P650 comes with 8-inch IPS display (resolution unspecified) and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core processor alongside 1GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It runs Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean and is upgradable via FOTA (firmware over the air). The tablet sports a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera while there is also a 2-megapixel front-facing camera onboard.

The Canvas Tab P650 comes with SIM support and has voice-calling, however, the company has not detailed if the device supports single SIM or is dual-SIM. Its 4800mAh battery is rated to deliver up to five hours of browsing time. Connectivity options on the tablet include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and 3G. The tablet comes with some features initially introduced on the company's flagship smartphone, the Canvas 4, such as Video Pinning, Pop-up Browser, Look away to Pause video. Pre-loaded apps on the Canvas Tab include Spuul, M! Security, Music Hub and Opera Mini.

The Micromax Canvas Tab will be available in two colours, Blue and White.

Commenting on the launch, Rahul Sharma, Micromax Co- Founder said, "With today's launch, we aim to extend the Canvas experience to our users on the tablet PC's, supported by an entire eco-system of applications. The Canvas Tab promises a seamless experience to the consumers. The Canvas Tab will strengthen our leadership in the tablet PC market complemented with a 360 degree go to market strategy to reach out to the consumers."

Suppose you want to lock the folder games in d: which has the path D:Games.

In the same drive create a text file and type

Now save this text file as loc.bat

Create another text file and type in it
ren games.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} games
Now save this text file as key.bat

Now you can see 2 batch files loc and key.Press loc and the folder games will change

to control panel and you cannot view its contents.Press key and you will get back your original folder.

Just go to my computer->tools->folder options->go to the view tab.

Many times Windows users face a common problem. The “Folder Options” in 
“Tools” menu is not visible. Even It can’t be accessed from Control Panel. 
Also “Registry Editor” is disabled.
Follow the simple steps mentioned in this tutorial and your problem will be solved:

1. If Folder Options is disabled but Registry Editor is still working in your system, 
then you can enable Folder Options by editing Windows Registry.
Type regedit in RUN dialog box and press Enter.

Tips to recover scratched CD's

1. Spread a cloth on a flat surface and place the CD on it.
2. Then, hold the disc with one hand, use the other to wipe the polish into
 the affected area with a soft cloth.
3. Wait for it to dry and buff using short, brisk strokes along the scratch, not across it.
4. A cloth sold to wipe spectacles or camera lenses will work super m8's.
5. When you can no longersee the scratch,, wash the disc with water and let it dry 
before playing. Intersting isnt it? Try it right now
I have used toothpaste with good effects before Ive also used car paint cutting
 compound on deeper scratches. It does leave lots of smaller scratches
 (as it is a cutting compound after all) but it will remove the worst scratches
 in most cases.

Many of us sometimes find the folder options missing in windows explorer.

Here's the solution
Open Run and then type "gpedit.msc".
Now goto
User Configuration > Administrative templates > Windows Component > Windows Explorer.

Click on Windows Explorer you will find the 3rd option on the right side of screen
"Removes the Folder Option menu item from the Tools menu"

Just check it,

if it is not configured then change it to enable by double clicking on it and after applying again set it to not configured.

Its pretty simple Creating the playlist create a playlist of your favourite songs
 in Winamp, WMP or any other player. Export the playlist as a M3U playlist.
 M3U is generally accepted by almost every player.
 Triggering the alarm point to 
start> programs >accessories > system tools >scheduled tasks
 Create a new task and choose program as windows media player or winamp 
(May work with others too but I haven't tried anything else) 
Choose "daily", Enter the time and choose "every day" at next screen.
It would now ask for password (leave blank in case you don't have one) 
Right click on the newly created task and check the "run only if logged in" check box
. In the properties. Append the path to the playlist you created in the "run" text box.
It should now look like Code:
